Time flyes, it really does! After being two months back in Holland, I’m already on the plane to Gran Canaria.
For two months Mara vd Schaaf was so nice to share her house in Scheveningen next to the beach with me. Couldn’t imagine a better location for being as much on the ocean as possible. Normally I live/study in Amsterdam. Cause I don’t have to study now, but just have to work a lot, it was more easy for me to live somewhere else in Holland. I worked at the a surfshop; Hartbeach, very cool surfshop and did some other jobs to work my ass of. But also had some very nice surfing and windsurfing days. Overpowerd with 3.3m, 64L and nice wave on Scheveningen I jumped my highest pushloops ever. Was/still so happy. Some days it was not good for the ocean and I went freestyling on Oostvoorne and Amstelmeer with my boyfriend and friends. Holland can be so perfect, not only the conditions but especially sailing with friends is nice!
After this weekend, I had just one day to move all my stuff out of Mara’s house and pack my stuff for the Canaric Islands. Stressssss!
Happy that I’m now in the plane with Amanda Beenen to the Canaric Islands where I probably will stay two months for training and making my PWA wave debut in Pozo and second PWA contest in Tenerife.
Pozo, here I come!
